DESIGNED TO SOLVE A PROBLEM

Pre/View was founded by architect Eduard Garcia and general contractor Denis Levin after years of seeing the same challenge from different sides of the building process: plans can communicate dimensions, but they don't always communicate how a space will actually feel.

ABOUT US

For years, Denis and Eduard saw projects move from drawings to construction with a critical gap between the two.

Architects could communicate the design. Builders could interpret the plans. Renderings could show what the finished project might look like. But clients could still struggle to understand scale, circulation and spatial relationships until the project physically existed.

By then, changes could mean revisions, delays and additional cost.

Pre/View transforms architectural plans into a walkable 1:1-scale environment where clients and project teams can physically move through a proposed space, understand relationships between rooms and evaluate the design together.

Bringing the concept to life required finding the right projection technology, integrating it into a cohesive system and finding a Chicago location capable of accommodating floor plans at this scale.

DENIS LEVIN

Co-Founder | General Contractor

Denis grew up around construction and began working in the industry at a young age. As a general contractor, he experienced the problem from the other side: decisions that weren't fully understood during design could become costly changes once construction was underway.

His experience taking projects from the ground up gave him a firsthand understanding of where communication can break down.

EDUARD GARCIA

Co-Founder | Architect

Eduard has worked in architecture since 1994 after studying structural engineering and architecture at Texas Tech University. His experience spans both residential and commercial projects.

Throughout his career, he repeatedly encountered the same communication challenge: even with drawings and renderings, clients could struggle to understand scale and spatial relationships before seeing a project built.
